Initiative, Honest, Diligent, Thrifty 1. Before founded in 1915, it was called Ingshan Elementary School, a private elementary school located at Puu Bian. 2. In 1950, the school changed its name to Puubian Elementary School and became a public elementary school. 3. In 1953, the school changed its name to Puushan Elementary School. 4. In 1959, after the merge with Herdoou Elementary School, Puushan Elementary School was renamed Herpuu Elementary 　 School, and another school was set up at Doou Men for children under Grade 4 to study. 5. In 1965, a new school was built at Shiah Tarng Tour becoming the first multi-storey style school building in Kinmen County. 6. In 1968, the school changed its name to Kinmen County, Jinsha Township, Herpuu Elementary School. 7. In 1977, a kinder garden school was established. 8. In 2000, a construction project for the underground safety shelter had begun, and eighteen hazardous classrooms were 　 being rebuilt.
